Performances
All school performances are marked as school performances in the performance schedule.
With the exception of specially marked evening performances, school performances begin at 10.30 am. To ensure smooth admission, please arrive at least half an hour before the performance begins.
Ticket prices
The ticket price for school performances is a standard €8 per pupil. Two accompanying adults per class are free of charge. If more than two accompanying persons per class are present, the €8 price applies for each additional accompanying person.
A limited number of tickets for school classes are available for selected evening performances - our U27 price applies for pupils and accompanying persons.
There are three wheelchair spaces, each with an accompanying seat. Both cost €4 each.
Ticket orders
You can order tickets for school performances directly by emailing nest(at)wiener-staatsoper.at. Please send us the following information with your order:
- Name of the performance
- Date of the performance (preferred date and alternative date)
- Name and address of the school
- Number of pupils
- Number of accompanying persons
- Need for wheelchair spaces
- Contact person incl. availability
