Planet: Zauberflöte

On the occasion of the premiere of The Magic Flute at the Vienna State Opera, students from the mdw University of Music will be presenting a creative take on Mozart's masterpiece.

Students are invited to a student house party with the motto "Planet Magic Flute". Friends enter a shared flat, discuss, celebrate and experience the ups and downs of emotions familiar from Mozart's original. Over the course of the flat-sharing party evening, the audience has the opportunity to follow six fictional characters through an evening in which they challenge each other musically, discuss controversial topics from the original, face essential tests and celebrate Mozart's music together in a rousing jam session! From the party pooper to the Mozart expert to the inevitable "Queen of the Party Night", the audience will meet personalities who will take us on their own journey through and with Mozart's Magic Flute on this evening.

After the party is before the party: the collective invites you to drinks & strings downstairs at the foyer bar to continue the party.
