About the Project
The end is near - but what's the right way to say goodbye? With lavish celebrations or quiet melancholy? With grand gestures or quiet moments?
Inspired by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Pathétique and Martin Schläpfer's ballet of the same name, the 24-member Tanzlabor ensemble brings a powerful choreography to the stage. Between farewell and departure, letting go and new beginnings, a multi-layered dance about the eternal cycle of life unfolds. Le Grand Finale celebrates the end - and the courage to start again.
